If anyone thinks of buying a pair of basketball shoes, the first thing that comes to our mind is Air Jordans. What makes the Air Jordans so special? Yes, it is in the name of a legend, but there is much more to the Jordon shoes than the name. No other brand or name comes close to the Jordan shoes and for the same reason everybody is looking forward to get cheap Jordon shoes in all style and design. For all fans of Jordan, Air Jordans are a part of "must have" collection list.
When one looks at the rating of the Jordan shoe series, he or she can find that all the series are rated above eight in ten. So no wonder everyone desires to get their hands on it. Early in 1984, Nike was a struggling shoe company. The running shoe phenomenon that has fueled their sales in previous years was slowly dying and they needed a way to revitalize and reinvent themselves in order to appeal to another segment of the market. At the same time, rookie player Michael Jordan was already endorsing several Air Jordans, but Nike hoped that his appeal would generate sales.
When Jordon was approached by Nike, he wanted the perfect shoes for the basketball players who never compromise the quality, comfort and style a player deserves. These are the exact features with Air Jordans that make it so unique and attract everyone towards it, and if it's a retro Jordon shoes, is a definitely done sale.
In the year 1985 Peter Moore and Nike came up with a brand of shoes for the all time great NBA player Michael Jordan which revolutionized the NBA accessories' world. Since then Nike is producing Jordan shoe every year under the Jordan Brand as Air Jordans. Until now there has been twenty five series of Air Jordans starting from Air Jordan I to Air Jordan 2009(XXV).
It is very important for one to check the quality of the product since he or she is buying these Air Jordans not just to play the basketball, but they want to play it like Jordon and fly like he did. So there is nothing fabulous than getting a pair of cheap Jordon shoes so that you can play the way the legend played it. While Jordan, himself, did not initially see the significance of Nike's offer, his agent, David Falk, saw a golden opportunity in Nike's offer to create a new line of shoes called "Air Jordans." and urged him to give Nike a chance.
