Would like to hold off screening it till we can stain both but it's holding the carpenter up to do the screening and strips on the outside? Solution for screening and staining. We pressure washed the old wood so no gray now. Would like to stain and screen it asap.
Go ahead and stain it. The old adage that you must wait a year has gone to the wayside. You deck will be hit with moisture a hundred times between now and when it is done sitting and "drying out". Go for it.
